I’m A.K. Neane—a non-binary writer, parent, and lifelong book lover who found home in the pages of fantasy long before I found it anywhere else.

Stories have always been my sanctuary. I grew up navigating trauma, unsafe spaces, and having my voice silenced. Books were where I could breathe, escape, and imagine a world better than the one I lived in.

It took me years to believe my voice was worth hearing. But through writing, I found the strength to speak, to heal, and to create the kind of worlds I needed. Where queer characters get to be powerful, complicated, and deeply loved.

Now, I write raw, emotional, queer works filled with magic, mess, monsters, and love. My stories are raw, honest, sometimes brutal, though always laced with hope. If you've ever felt like too much, too queer, or too broken, my books are for you.

I live on a small family farm with my kids, goats, and too many chaotic projects. Most days you’ll find me writing, researching mythology, or trying to dust glitter off my keyboard.
